When does Livo launch?
Android beta is open now — we're recruiting our first 100 testers. Public Android launch follows once the beta is stable and Google approves. Apple iOS opens after that. Inhambane and surrounding area first — that includes Tofo and Barra.
Is it free?
Yes. Livo will always have a free tier. No subscriptions, no paywalls on core features.
What does Livo do at launch?
Live at launch: fair taxis, restaurants & reviews, and community voting. Built but not yet live (community decides when): Events and Rideshare. Not built yet — voting candidates: Marketplace, Home Swap, Song of the Week, Group Chats, Pet Sitting, and whatever you suggest.
What's this "community voting" thing?
Every Livo user can vote on which features get built next. You can also suggest your own. The roadmap is genuinely yours.
What are points and levels?
Add a restaurant, rate a ride, vote on a feature — every contribution earns points. Levels celebrate your participation. No monetary rewards yet; real status in your community.
Will Livo work outside Inhambane?
Inhambane and surrounding area first (Tofo + Barra included). Bilene, Maputo, Pemba, Ponta Malongane, Vilanculos, Xai-Xai are on the roadmap. Beyond Mozambique after that.
iOS or Android first?
Android first — that's where the closed beta is running (100 slots, first come first served). Apple iOS opens once the Android beta is stable and we get App Store approval.
What about my data?
Email only at this stage, never sold. Once the app is live we follow the privacy policy linked in the footer.
Can I be a driver or list my restaurant?
Yes — both are live at launch. You'll be able to register as a driver, or add your own restaurant, from day one. Adding events is on the way (community-decided release). Marketplace listings depend on the community voting Marketplace into the roadmap.
